About Carina


Carina obtained a 2:1 (Hons) LLB Law Degree at Lancaster University in 2008, before completing the Legal Practice Course at Chester Law School in 2009, achieving a Distinction. Carina trained with a Wirral/Chester based law firm and qualified as a Solicitor in 2012. After qualification Carina returned to her home county of Wiltshire for several years, before joining FBC Manby Bowdler as an Associate in the Wills, Probate & Lifetime Planning Team in 2018 and was appointed Partner in 2021.

Carina heads up the Community Care Team in Shropshire and deals with the drafting of wills to include care fee and tax planning and the preparation and registration of Powers of Attorney. She also deals with the administration of a wide variety of trusts and estates. Carina is a full member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners (STEP) and The Association of Lifetime Lawyers. In 2021 Carina was appointed as the Shropshire Regional Director at The Association of Lifetime Lawyers and is a panel solicitor for MENCAP and the National Autistic Society.

 

Fun Fact

Carina previously spent a month in Kenya which involved helping to build a school, local volunteer work and climbing Mount Kenya
