About Kim


Kim obtained an LLB (Hons) Law Degree from the University of Birmingham in 1982, before completing the Law Society Finals at the College of Law in Guildford in 1983. Kim joined the Firm as a Trainee Solicitor, qualified as a Solicitor in 1986, became a Partner in 1989 and was Managing Partner of the firm from 2005-2020. In April 2020 Kim became Lead Partner of the Wills, Probate & Lifetime Planning Department.

Kim has played an active role in national legal network, LawNet, for a number of years. In 2012 she was awarded the LawNet Managing Partner of the Year Award, which recognised her outstanding performance and leadership. In 2015 Kim was appointed Chair of LawNet, a role which she held for 7 years before stepping down in 2022. Kim was the first woman to hold the role in the networks 26 year history.  

Kim is recognised as a key lawyer in the leading Legal 500 2024 Directory.

 

Fun Fact

In her youth Kim was an accomplished ballroom dancer and competed at the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool.
